How quickly could I be seen?
Focus Health Counselling and Psychotherapy Services will respond to any enquiry via email, callback or telephone message on 07939 061 822 within 24 hours and will endeavour to arrange a first appointment within 48 hours. What can I expect on first meeting?
You can rely on a warm and respectful welcome and for what is discussed to be treated with professional confidence. You will be given information regarding the process of counselling and psychotherapy in order that you can make informed choices regarding continuation. This will include reference to the UKCP or BACP code of professional conduct. The first meeting will take the opportunity to gather appropriate information and to begin the process of positive and affirmative forward steps.
How can Counselling/Psychotherapy help?
Focus Health provides effective, positive and research driven help with a range of personal challenges. An outline of areas of particular expertise can be found within the Individual Counselling section of our website. We would be pleased to answer any questions you might have as to the suitability of counselling or psychotherapy. A copy of the counselling contract with Huw Richards can be found here. Please note that these services are not suitable for emergency or mental health crisis need.
What is Professional registration?
Our Associates are all members of the leading professional associations in the specialist areas of Counselling and Psychotherapy, including the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and CORST. Although independent practitioners, they adhere to the highest possible standards of professional practice and ensure that these exacting standards are maintained to confirm client confidence.
What are the fees?
Sessional costings reflect the outstanding professional standards of Focus Health Counselling and Psychotherapy Services. Appointments can be secured promptly by contacting us on Tel: 07939061822, through our Counselling appointments page or directly and straightforwardly via our Online Booking Page. Payment can be made via debit/credit card, cheque or Paypal. Please note we do not accept cash payments.
- Individual Counselling or Psychotherapy sessions with Huw Richards £95.
Cancellation of appointments require 24 hours of notice or full payment will be necessary. Sessions are for 1 hour. Please note that the services provided are not suitable for emergency or mental health crisis need.

Any concerns should be raised directly with the associate therapist or with their member organisation.
